Yarn Alonging

Linking up with Ginny over at Small Things.

I’m knitting Monster a pair of socks. I made him a pair last year too, so I guess it’s turning into a tradition. I misread the first pattern I was going to follow and got circular needles instead of the dpns I should have bought – so I had to find a new pattern that only used two needles. I keep thinking I’m getting a lot of sleep, but then I do something like that and I realize that clearly I’m not (or I’ve completely lost my mind, but I like my first explanation better).

I’m currently reading White Witch, Black Curse by Kim Harrison and I’ve started 7 by Jen Hatmaker. I’ll give 7 a couple more chapters, but it’s not as interesting as I thought it would be.

A portrait a week of each of my children.

Well, my blogging has been pretty much non-existent lately, but hey – at least I’ve managed this post for three weeks straight!

Outside at last!

A Photo a Week – Week 1

So I’ve seen several bloggers who post one photo a week of their kids. I really like this idea so I thought I’d give it a try this year (although I’m posting late this week – I’m already off to a great start, haha)!

Too cold to play outside – had to burn off some energy though!

2015 Reading List

What’s a new year without a new list of reading goals? Here’s what I’m hoping to read this year, although if last year’s list is any indication, I’ll probably only read about half of them. 😉

Joan of Arc by Mark Twain
Bringing it to the Table by Wendall Berry
Something Other than God by Jen Fulwiler
The Nesting Place by Myquillyn Smith
7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess by Jen Hatmaker
Finish The Hollows Series by Kim Harrison
When Donkeys Talk by Tyler Blanski
The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis

What are you planning to read in 2015? Have any good recommendations?
