Monster’s Year In Review

This is a few days late, but here’s a photo review of Monster’s year:

  • March – Monster is born!!

    Newborn Baby Monster!

  • April – Monster’s first Easter. Monster smiles at us!

How can you resist this smile?

  • May – Monster is baptized. It’s my first Mother’s Day. 🙂

  • June – P’s first Father Day! And our first wedding anniversary! 🙂

Relaxing with Daddy at Monster's first outdoor concert

  • July – Monster’s first trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa K. Monster’s first 4th of July. Monster rolls over for the first time!!

First time in a pool. He loved it, of course!

  • August – Monster meets Auntie L before she moves back to the west coast. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of them together. Fail on my part.

Here's a picture from August anyway

  • September – Monster gets his first two teeth.

  • October – Monster’s first visit to the zoo. P’s 28th birthday! Monster’s first Halloween. He helps hand out candy as a lion!

Giraffes!

A lion - oh my!

  • November – Monster meets P’s college friends. Monster gets four more teeth. First Thanksgiving AND first trip out of the state.

I think this is the first family picture we have since Monster was born. Sad, right?

  • December – Monster’s first Christmas! Monster’s first New Year’s Eve!

Somewhere along the way, I forgot to document when Monster could sit up unassisted (it was late summer sometime), pull himself up on pieces of furniture (November/December?) and sit himself up.  I’m sure there are other milestones I’m missing, but these are the ones that come easily to mind. Sorry Monster! I’ll try to do a better job of documenting your milestones this year.
